Aug 15 - Country Music Hall Of Fame

"Will The Circle Be Unbroken" is the theme of the Grand Ole Opry and the Country Music Hall Of Fame. Plaques representing the artists who have been inducted, are arranged on a large music staff to correspond with the actual notes from this song. The staff encircles a huge rotunda that has a spire from the ceiling that extends outside from the roof of the building.

They have a lot of displays with clothing, awards, and musical instruments donated by some of the 130 or so inductees, 3 of which were inducted this year. An interesting note is that on Minnie Pearls plaque, they did not put her death date. This was by her request, because she never wanted the character of Minnie Pearl to die. They still have someone dress up as her at the Grand Ole Opry shows.
